We developed the Hipstik brand to fill a gap in the hosiery category: low-rise tights and pantyhose designed to fit women of all shapes. As the founders, we utilized all of the branding, marketing and business strategies we know. Living this process puts us in a unique position – an understanding of the full product launch process – the triumphs and struggles you have gone through.
The creative messaging of the hosiery category is dominated by muted earth tones and absurd model photography. We aimed to change that by introducing a brand for women of all body shapes, happy yet stylish colors, and a memorable name that is indicative of the function.
